"If ",
Quien Sabe did not possess a conscience
but that is a very large "If "
indeed:
Here is
How Quien Sabe would force upon Shady
Cove a water system that may not be in
Shady Cove's best interest.
1. Spread the
word, your wells are temporary, only the
river is forever. Who has not heard of
the Klamath, the Umpqua??
2. Get the
firehouse and Fire District 4 to agree
that to put out a fire today with our
decimated fire crew, it would easier for
this crew to contain a fire within Shady
Cove if unlimited water was available
from a fire hydrant. (what could the
present crew say? They are without
adequate manpower.)
3. Propose a
water district that does not include
"NO" votes and religiously
stays within the city boundary's.
4. Insist that
the distribution system does extend to
the availability of all taxpayers
including the "NO" votes inside
the city limits.
5. ANNEX THE
WATER DISTRICT AND CITY OF SHADY COVE AS
SOON AS POSSIBLE (ASAP) after formation
of the district
6. Announce very
shortly after that, that the city
provided service of enhanced fire
protection i.e. fire hydrants, is
available to "ALL" Shady Cove
citizens.
7. Announce that
city water service is available, even if
not utilized, to "ALL" Shady
Cove citizens. As per law a city must
provide services to each and every
citizen equally. Will availability be
deemed to be service?
8. Oh-- now
minor item, "YOUR TAX BILL"
will verify your inclusion into the
district with proper upwards
"TAX" adjustments for the 40
year payments of this grandiosity of
Shady Cove.
This is
what Quien Sabe could do, but Quien don't
lean that way. That guy has got a
conscience!
Adios
