Millions of dollars are being taken out of employee's paychecks for their income tax, and social security payments every year. Millions of these taxes are never turned over to the government. However, they are being paid out in social security benefits and income tax refunds. Most of these employers are getting off scot free, and others are making deals to pay maybe ten cents on the dollar back. What they are doing is against the law, and must be stopped. If the Justice Department prosecuted one big case in every state, and put those employers in jail, this stealing of withheld taxes would stop.

No country, however strong, can continue to spend billions on defense, social security, foreign aid and other items when the taxes are not turned over to the government. The deficit will grow more out of control, and social security surely will collapse.

Please contact your congressional representatives and have them request an accounting from the IRS of how much goes uncollected each year in your state of Federal Payroll taxes. Also, that congress insists
The Justice Department enforce the laws concerning stealing of trust fund monies. Employers, both small and large, are stealing from our future, and security.

As a revenue officer for the internal revenue service for many years, I dealt with these employers. They think that they can just get around to paying in those taxes, so they spend the money. Then when they don't pay the money, the IRS shuts down the business to stop the stealing. The states shut down businesses for the same reasons. Employers should either not be allowed to withhold employee taxes, should have to put up a bond to protect the funds, or go to jail. It is unfair to all of the rest of Americans to constantly have their taxes raised because some think it their right to steal. That type of stealing is generally called embezzlement, and should be treated as such.

Since it is a certainly that the terrorists are not going to stop trying to destroy us, in order to protect ourselves, and our economy, the Treasury Department must receive the withheld taxes.
